“I am fascinated by the visual transformation of the city from day to night. During the day, specific and identifiable forms (buildings, trees, roads, etc.) combined with the hustle and bustle of the city can become visually chaotic, but at night everything distills into twinkling lights in the darkness; by reducing all of the various Toronto neighbourhoods into this abstract entity, their commonality and interconnected nature becomes much more apparent. Much like the stars in our universe, these lights may be big or small, close or far, bright or dim, yet they all have their rightful place in the vast space of our city.”

“Board Meeting is a compilation of footage captured at Times Square in New York City. Various pieces will be projected in different parts of the basement throughout the evening.”
Pieces were projected onto the ceiling during performances by Great Death and New Chance, onto The Bicycles for their intermission sets during the talk show Long Night with Vish Khanna, onto the stage area for Nailbiter’s performance, and as background visuals in between acts.
A remix version of Sound and Fury was screened as part of Hyperlink v2.0 presented by The Analog Preservation Network.
Subsequent screenings were held at Electric Eclectics Festival (August 1st in Meaford) and Zine Dream 8 (August 16th in Toronto).
